Heat pumps in west Waterford and east Cork
We fit air-to-water heat pumps that heat your radiators or underfloor heating and your hot water, and the old oil boiler comes out. We are based in Lismore and work across west Waterford and east Cork.

What we fit
Everything between the unit outside and the taps inside.
- Air-to-water heat pumps
- Hot water cylinders to suit the heat pump
- Underfloor heating manifolds and pipework
- New radiators where a room needs a bigger one
- Heating controls
- Taking out the old oil boiler
What changes in the house
A heat pump runs the water cooler than an oil boiler and for longer, so the house stays at an even warmth instead of heating up and cooling down. The radiators feel warm rather than hot.
The unit sits outside, and a cylinder for the hot water goes inside. Some rooms need a bigger radiator or underfloor heating to stay warm at the lower water temperature. We check each room before we give you a price.

Is your house ready?
A heat pump works best in a well-insulated house. For homes built before 2007, SEAI asks for a technical assessment of the heat loss before you apply, and pays €200 towards it. You do not need one if a valid BER shows a Heat Loss Indicator of 2.3 or lower.
Homes built from 2007 on are usually ready as they are.
Questions
Yes. When a heat pump goes in, the oil boiler comes out.
Often they will. A heat pump runs the water cooler than an oil boiler, so some rooms need a bigger radiator to stay warm. We check each room before we give you a price.
If the house has been insulated and sealed up to get it ready for a heat pump, it needs good ventilation too, or the damp air has nowhere to go. We can look at both together.
